Introduction

The Daily Advertiser, Wagga Wagga, N.S.W. 8th December 1934. MRS. S. M. PRIMROSE. The death took place on Tuesday of Mrs. S. M. Primrose, mother of Ald. H. M. Primrose, M.L.A. for North Sydney. She was in her 78th year and had lived at Cootamundra and Coonabarabran before making her home at Roseville, where she resided for many years. She is survived by three daughters and four sons. The latter are Messrs. H. L. and R. C. N. Primrose ( of the legal firm of Primrose and Primrose ), Mr. H. B. Primrose ( of Selwey and Primrose, solicitors ), and Mr. A. E. Primrose, of Gladesville. She had been a keen worker for charitable organisations. The funeral took place at Gore Hill cemetery. The Premier was represented by Mr. Rose, and the Mayor of North Sydney ( Ald. R. C. Forsyth ) also attended in addition to the relatives.
