She had siblings Thomas Thompson Caygill, William Coates Caygill, Leonard Mudd Caygill, John Caygill, and Mary Jane Caygill. She married John May Ware in 1890, and had a child Edith May Ware. Sarah Ware died at age 59 years old on December 14, 1920 in Newstead.
