She had siblings Andrew Thomas Berriman, Albert Berriman, Betsey Berriman, Joseph Abraham Berriman, Harriet Elizabeth Berriman, Fanny Agnes Berriman, Clara Maude Berriman, Joseph Robert Berriman, and Ernest Berriman. She married Alex Muir, and had children James William Muir and Albert Joseph Muir. Sarah Muir died at age 59 years old on June 23, 1923 in Annandale, NSW.
