Samuel Gibbs was born in 1843 to James Gibbs and Deliah Landsaw, and had siblings Nancy Gibbs, Sarah Gibbs, Cassandra Gibbs, Bertha Gibbs, Richard Gibbs, Mary Gibbs, Boone Gibbs, Emily Gibbs, Belle Gibbs, and Evaline Gibbs. Samuel Gibbs died at age 19 years old in 1862.
