Samuel Aghan of South Melbourne Australia was born in 1881 in Wangaratta to William Young Aghan and Elizabeth (Southgate) Aghan. He had siblings Mary Aghan, Edward James Aghan, Lila Aghan, Emily Aghan, Albert James Aghan, Ruby Elizabeth (Aghan) Curtis, William Henry Aghan, Martha Phyllis "May" Aghan, and David George Aghan. He married Henrietta Edith (Sheridan) Aghan in 1905, and had children Carol Edith Aghan and Athol James Aghan. Samuel Aghan died at age 67 years old on October 28, 1949 at Coventry St, in South Melbourne, Port Phillip City County, VIC.
