    Aunt Sabina was a kind Aunt, I remember how she loved her brother Stanley Gronczewski. Born in Brooklyn, they shared a World War, where her Brother was stationed in Greenland, and a stronge Polish Heritage. Traveled in a 64 chevy to visit the family in New York, from the "farmlands of New Jersey" to a family gathering of kids, and adults, and dogs... Love to all, Genevieve Gronczewski Saffron

In 1919, in the year that Sabina Schiro was born, on January 6th, President Theodore Roosevelt died. Having gone to bed the previous night after being treated for breathing problems, the ex-President died in his sleep from a clot that had traveled to his lungs. He was 60. After a simple service, Roosevelt was buried on a hillside overlooking Oyster Bay.
