They had children Tatum O'Neal and Griffin O'Neal. He would also marry Leigh Taylor-Young on February 27, 1967 and they later divorced on March 13, 1974. They had a child Patrick O'Neal. Ryan's partner was Farrah Fawcett in 1979 and they later separated in 2009. They had a child Redmond O'Neal. Ryan O'Neal died at age 82 years old on December 8, 2023 in Santa Monica.
