He had siblings Charles Edward Lucas, Edmund John Lucas, Thomas Lucas, Mary Margaret Lucas, Albert George Lucas, Catherine Winifred Lucas, Elizabeth Sarah (Lucas) Brereton, William Thomas Lucas, Norman Cyril Lucas, and Percival Cecil Lucas. Roy Lucas married Alice May Slavin in 1926, and died at age 81 years old in 1977 in Inglewood.
