Roxy Gertrude (Thayer) Fudge was born on March 19, 1920 to Mabel Florence Thayer-Widiger (Née Medley) and John A. "Johnny" Thayer, and had siblings Roy Ronald Thayer, Helen Florence Biellier (Née Thayer), Roscoe Crockett Thayer, and Roxanne M. Marlin-Brown-Frey (Née Thayer). She married John Nevell Fudge. She would also marry Clyde Burdette. She also married Walter Lee Coble, and they had a child ♀ Higgins (Née Coble). Roxy Fudge died at age 66 years old in July 1986.

Although in later years they were thought to be innocent, they were anarchists and were convicted of the crime and put to death.
