Roger Palmer. died at age 21 years old on August 7, 1915 at Dardanelles in Turkey.

Palmer, and grandson of Mrs. Edgar Glennie, Monaltrie, Maple grove, Toorak. The Argus, Melbourne. 8th August. 1918. PALMER. - KINNAIRD.- In sad and loving memory of our comrades, Sergeant Roger Palmer and Trooper Bruce Kinniard, 8th Light Horse, who were killed in action at Walker's Ridge, Gallipoli, 7th August 1915.
