I honestly cannot believe I'm just now hearing about Rob's death, but I felt it important to share a fond memory I have of Rob, even if it's digital. Rob and I communicated quite a bit on eBay in the mid 2000's because we shared an equal love of our hero, former Cincinnati Reds outfielder Eric Davis. Rob and I would bid on many of the same items and communicate with each other whenever either of us outbid the other. Rob was always a humble winner & a gracious loser when it came to these lots we would be bidding on. His screen name was POKO98 and I still remember the wonderful discussions we had online, regarding memorabilia, cards, autographs, and other Eric Davis stories.
