  • Introduction

My mother was a very generous person. She loved my Dad, my brother and I very much. She always said she just wanted to live to see her grand babies and that she did. She adored her 2 granddaughters with everything and they adored her too. Although her and my dad John Lewis never married they were together until her death. She was in the hospital for close to 2 months before she passed and he went to visit her 3 or more times a day. When we found out that she was close to the end we told the doctor we wanted to do things the way she wanted them to be therefore we wanted her to go home to pass peacefully in her own bed and that she did the very next night. She was a wonderful person, the best wife, mother, sister and friend anyone could ask for. She was definitely an Angel of God.
