Raymond Leo Clegg passed away on October 23, 2005, at the age of 71, in Mesa, Arizona. He was born in San Bernardino, California on January 24, 1934 to Alvin Clegg and LaVanche (Porter) Clegg. He is survived by his wife, Sue of Arizona; two daughters by his first wife, Sheri of Kansas, and Darla of Washington; two grandchildren, Sam of Washington, and Brandi of Oregon; three great grandchildren, Serenna, Selysse, and Liam of Washington. Ray was a short time resident of Mesa, Arizona. Most of his time was spent traveling. He enjoyed working in Saudi Arabia as an Electrical Engineer , and while working with Bechtel Corporation he was fortunate to frequently travel abroad. Ray was a lover of animals, and had many throughout his lifetime. He had much respect for all living things. He enjoyed fishing with a cold beer...always a catch & release man. He loved ball games, taking his children to Disneyland, spreading out the Sunday paper and working on crossword puzzles, and barbecues. He had a good heart and genuine interest in caring for others.
