    Randal W. "Randy" Doescher, age 63, of Mineral Point, formerly of Blanchardville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Upland Hills Health, following a massive heart attack. Randy was born on September 7, 1947 in Dodgeville, a son of Wilbur and Esther (Amacher) Doescher. He married his high school sweetheart, Judith Kitsemble on June 1, 1968 in Hollandale. Randy was well known and loved in the community. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, yet making his family his first priority. He loved his new home and was looking forward to spring to start his garden. He was a farmer at heart and loved all his animals and the land. He farmed most of his life and retired in 2008. He enjoyed camping, ATV riding, tinkering with things, gardening, spending time with family and friends and his beloved dog, Trudy. Randy is survived by his loving family which include, his wife, Judy; his three sons, Todd, Thomas (Vanessa) and Randy (Melissa) Doescher; his mother, Esther Zander; his brothers, Ronald (Peggy) Doescher, Roger (Pat) Doescher, Dennis (Rhonda) Doescher, Donald (Rosemary) Doescher and Duane (Joanie Miller) Doescher; his sisters, Mary June (Dave Dell) Zitka, Pat Foss and Barb (Roger Husom) Leuthold; his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joyce (Greg) Foster, Jim (Barb) Kitsemble, Jeff Kitsemble and Russell Peterson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur; his sister, Bonnie Peterson; two brothers-in-law, Donald Foss and Robert Zitka; his sister-in-law, Janice Kitsemble; and his father and mother-in-law, William and Ruby Kitsemble. Friends called from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27 at the Gorgen-McGinley & Ayers Funeral Home in Dodgeville. A private family service for Randy Doescher was held on Monday with burial in St. Bridget's Cemetery in Ridgeway.
