    Priscilla Cook was my great aunt on my mother's side and she was a very sweet and determined lady. She had a sister named Jenny Livours.I will always remember her long hair and her white shoes Her recipes for jam cake were legendary because my mother her niece would make that jam cake every Christmas. People would pay my mother to make them a jam cake, it was that good! My mother Georgia passed away on Christmas day of 2020 and they, my mom and my great aunts and aunt Laura will live on through me and my brother. .

    Priscilla Cook, born 28 May, 1889. Passed away in February 1967 at the age of 77. She leaves behind a sister Jenny Livours and her nephew Bryan K Livours. Neices, Georgia and Laura Catlett, great nephew Kenny and great neice Carolyn. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Lexington, Kentucky.

In 1896, by the time she was only 7 years old, on August 17th, the first pedestrian v car fatality occurred in Great Britain. Bridget Driscoll, age 44, was walking with her family on the grounds of The Crystal Palace in London when she was hit by a car driven by Arthur James Edsall. Edsall claimed to be going 4.5 mph and Driscoll's death was ruled an "accidental death" after an inquest.
