Philomena (Mandelino) Scandiffio was born on July 13th, 1927 to Philomena Fenimore (1902 - 1993) and Giovanni "John" Baptist Mandelino (1900 - 1984). She had siblings Carmella, Theresa, Rose, Elizabeth, Sylvia, Gloria, Rita and Michael, plus two more sisters and two more brothers. Philomena Mandelino married Joseph W. Scandiffio (1922 - 1969) on August 21st, 1948. Joseph was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II. They had a son, Michael scandiffio and a daughter, JoAnn Darino. Grandma

I remember the days you would pick us up and bring us to Staten Island.i remember us always stopping on way to our new house getting fruit stepped gum from pork store.ill never forget uncle Bobby throwing us out at 6 am because i ate his chocolate.you had such beautiful red hair and you were tuff as they come.i miss you grandma so does dad.forever in our hearts.
