Petrus "Peter" Henry Hyzer 1771 - 1850

Petrus Henry Hyzer was born on June 7, 1771 in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York United States to Pieter Hyzer and Catharina (Buys) DuBois. Petrus' partner was Eve (Schryver) Hyzer on February 19, 1797. They had children Mary Polly Hyzer Davis, Abraham T. Hyzer, Elizabeth Hyzer Davis, Catherine Hyzer VanValkenburgh, Peter Henry Hyzer, Isaac Jacob Hyzer, and Ellenor (Hyzer) Samuels. He married Laney (Wilson) Hyzer on November 8, 1840. Petrus Hyzer died at age 79 years old in 1850 in Andes, Delaware County.
