All these years and I still miss him
I don't know if anyone will ever read this but he deserves to be remembered. I Knew Pete from the time I was two until his death when I was only 12. I am heartbroken that I'm unable to find any obituary or information on him anywhere. So here are a couple of my memories of him.

Fist off I adored that old man. I was just two years old when I first met him and his wife Sophie. I would squeeze myself under the fence between our homes and "runaway" to their house because they would give me ice cream.

Peter and I would sit and watch boxing matches together. I was once told he was a golden gloves boxer but I don't really know if it's true. There was a fun story about when he was in his 60's or so and at the bar having a drink. A young guy came in and wouldn't stop harassing him so when Peter finally had enough he cold cocked the young man then calmly went back to his drink.

He would also sit in his truck to drink and throw the beer cans out in the yard. For every beer can I brought him he would give me a 2-dollar bill. When I was little I thought it was the greatest game ever.

He bought me my first bike and hid it out in his shed. He once asked me to tell him who was on the 100 dollar bill. When I told him he gave me the 100 dollars. I don't know how he was with other people but that old fart treated me like a little princess. I never doubted for a minute that he loved me. I was heartbroken when I went to the hospital and told him goodby for the last time. I wish I had more memories of him and his wife Sophie who was just as wonderful to me.
