Zwarych-Seimens Vows Pledged In Church Ceremony
The Westminster Presbyterian church was the scene of a wedding marked by beauty and simplicity when on June 21 at 7o'clock in the evening, Hazel Windham Siemens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Windham became the bride of First Lieutenant Peter Paul Zwarych, of Howard Fleld, Panama Canal Zone.
Officiating at the impressive rites was Dr. J. E. Wallace, pastor of the church. The altar was banked with fern and white gladioli, and glowing tapers in cathedral candelabra cast a soft light over the nuptial setting. The nuptial music was rendered by Mrs. Vann Clemmen who accompanied Miss Ada Harrell as she sang "Always," and "Because". The traditional wedding marches were used.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. C. T. Estess, who was attired in a blue crepe model with which she wore white accessories. Her corsage was of pink sweetheart roses. The bridegroom was attended by C. T. Estess as best man.
The bride, given in marriage by her, father, W. E. Windham, was radiant in a white crepe dress fashioned with short sleeves and a softly draped skirt. She wore a white hat trimmed with a gold veil and carried a bridal bouquet of orchids and white carnations.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the ball room of the Edwards Hotel. The bride's table was artistically arranged with a tiered cake and white tapers in silver candelabra. Music rendered at the reception was by Miss Mary Harrell.
Later in evening the young couple left on a wedding trip to New York City. For traveling, the bride changed to a green summer suit with which she wore white and green accessories. They will make their home 1n the Panama Canal Zone where Lt. Zwarych is stationed.
