Peter Hyzer was born on February 4, 1829 in Andes, Delaware County, New York United States. He married Elizabeth Etta (Hoyt) Hyzer on August 24, 1859 in Delaware County, NY. They had children Hannah Mariah (Hyzer) Cheeseman, Andrew H. Hyzer, Sarah Elizabeth (Hyzer) Cheeseman, Abraham Lincoln Hyzer, and Emma Independence (Hyzer) Hoffman. He also married Harriet Catherine (Davis) Hyzer on March 23, 1882. They had children Walter Peter Hyzer, John Burtis Hyzer, and Sadie Mae Hyzer. Peter Hyzer died at age 63 years old on May 15, 1892 at N Shannon Route, in Shannon, Carroll County, IL.
