Paul Frederick Royce
Swanton - Paul Royce spread his wings for his last life adventure on January 1, 2019 at age 57. He departed from Burlington, VT and passed on in the early morning hours after a painful and heroic struggle with cancer. Originally from Connecticut and the youngest of 7, he moved to Vermont in 1982. A boy with his toys, always, life was one big adventure for Paul. For fun, he was known to travel the U.S. for Trials motorcycle competitions and for work as he was employed as a welder for the Boilermakers. While living in Swanton, VT, Paul was instrumental in bringing Trials competitions to Vermont so he could live his passion on home-grounds. As a result of his wanderings, Paul had a large family and numerous friends across the country and would help anyone in need. While always on the lookout for fun, Paul also had a large family with 6 siblings, their wives and children along with his own daughter, two sons and six grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by both parents, one brother and his eldest sister. A celebration of life will be held in the spring with information to follow.
