Paul Davis Wallace of Franklinville, Randolph County, NC was born on August 28, 1916 in Dry Fork, Pittsylvania County, Virginia United States to John Aaron Wallace and Emma Jean (Davis) Wallace. He had siblings Jefferson Davis Wallace, Percy Nathaniel Wallace, Ezra Reeves Wallace, Ira Otis Wallace, Edward Lee Wallace, John Clarence Wallace, and Elizabeth Frances (Wallace) Midkiff. He married Mary Hazel (Curtis) Wallace on February 21, 1936 in Danville, and they were married until Paul's death on August 17, 2010 in Franklinville, Randolph County, North Carolina. He had children Alma Lorraine (Wallace) McCain and John Davis Wallace. Paul Wallace was buried on August 20, 2010 at First Baptist Church 440 Academy St, in Franklinville.

    Paul Wallace Franklinville - Paul Davis Wallace, 93, of 522 Andrew Hunter Rd., Franklinville, N.C., died Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services, 4 P.M., Friday, First Baptist Church of Franklinville. Officiating, Rev. Steven Cox. Interment, First Baptist Church of Franklinville. He was a native of Dry Fork, V.A. and was a member of First Baptist Church in Franklinville. He was retired from Randolph Mills, Flour and Feed Mill Division with 47 years of service where he was a superintendent. He was also an Army Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth McCain and Paul Curtis McCain. Survivors: wife, Mary Curtis Wallace of the home, daughter Lorraine McCain and husband Billy, of Kernersville, N.C., son John "Dave" Wallace and wife Marian, of Asheboro, N.C., sister Peggy Midkiff of Greensboro, N.C., grandson David McCain and wife Audrey, of Kernersville, N.C. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Christine McCarty and her staff at the Randolph Cancer Center, to Dr. Karla Smith and her staff, the Merce Clinic and to Hospice of Randolph County for their care and support throughout Paul's sickness. Visitation, 6 P.M. until 7:30 P.M., Thursday, Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur, other times at the residence. Arrangements by Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur. Memorials may be made to, First Baptist Church of Franklinville Cemetery Fund, 440 Academy St., Franklinville, N.C. 27248.
