The weekend events hosted by their children Eileen and Patrick as a gift. On November 17,1995 my parents also renewed their wedding vows. This was held in 'Our Lady Chapel' at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cathedral on Fifth Avenue in New York City,NY. My mother sadly passed away , just a few years later. She was attended daily from early morning ,through late night by her loving husband "Bus." My mother suffered through the horrors of Alzheimer's Disease.Throughout those many years,at St.Annes nursing home in Rochester,my father barely left your side until the very end. Mom was just a few blocks away from,the home of her birth 960 Portland Avenue directly across from,where She married Bus at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church,(Portland ave 9/17/1945) After their wedding they honeymooned in Niagara Falls, Then driving California were Bus was from.
After returning from World War II as a highly decorated war hero,Bus and Alice went off to finish his college education . This was at Cal poly Technical Institute: In beautiful San Luis Obispo California. The next year on November 26 of 1946 their first child Kathleen was born.
Bus was from Scotia,Rio Dell,Humboldt Co. California.
Buses father's name was Charles's mother Mary. His great-grandfather Timothy Crowley,was one of the original pioneers of Northern California . He helped to establish the lands recently Acquired after the Mexican Indian war. There's an obituary, Online From the San Francisco paper called the 'Grizzly' Timothy Crowley died in 1914, At his second home at Big lake California. (Lakeport). After leaving the family farm along the Ell River in Ferndale,California. The Crowley family home was in San Francisco California, Located at 1398 Post St., San Francisco, CA. This is where the Crowley family has a historic genealogical background. The original Crowley family emigrated in the mid-1880s from Castletown,Ireland. This information is historically accurate.
