Octavia Palmer died at age 71 years old on June 5, 1905 at Orange River Colony in Tweespruit, Motheo County, FS South Africa.

Death of Mrs. P. C. Palmer. ON June 5, at Twee Spruit, Orange River Colony, South Africa, the death occurred of Mrs. Octavia Caroline Palmer, widow of the late Mr. Pemberton Campbell Palmer, and owner of Jerrabomberra Estate. The deceased lady was 72 years of age. She came to Queanbeyan something like half a century ago.
