Northia Caldwell Dolan was born on February 14, 1889 in Roanoke, Virginia United States to John Anderson Dolan and Elizabeth Caroline (Toothman) Dolan, and had siblings Lawrence David Dolan, Raymond Leslie Dolan, Mary S. (Dolan) Post, Rhoda Ella Dolan, Lee Elmer Dolan, Clara Belle (Dolan) Poulson, Ira Chapman Dolan, Edward Dixon Dolan, Dellia Virginia (Dolan) Post, Roy Richard Dolon, and Elizabeth Ann (Dolan) Edwards. He married Zelpha Pearl (French) Dolan, and they were married until Zelpha's death on October 6, 1923. They had children Zelpha Lucille (Dolan) Cunningham and Ivan Dolan. He would also marry Anna Viola (McCollum) Dolan, and they were married until Northia's death on September 3, 1964.
