Nina Florence (Moroney) Smith of Carlton, City of Melbourne County, VIC Australia was born on April 21, 1915 in Leopold, Greater Geelong City County to Peter Michael Moroney and Mary Alice (Dew) Moroney. She had siblings Vivian Peter Moroney, Lorna Annie Iris Moroney, Phyllis Margaret Muriel Moroney, Gordon Haywood Moroney, Francis Ivan Hugh Moroney, Peter Bevan Moroney, Doreen Marjorie Moroney, James Henry Moroney, and Jean Alice Jessie Moroney. She married Arthur Charles Smith in 1935, and had children Edward Arthur Smith and Robert Leslie Smith. Nina Smith died at age 36 years old on December 20, 1951 in Carlton, City of Melbourne County.
