Nellie Kathleen (McCormack) Pollett was born in 1903 to Lauretta Emily (Gardner) McCormack and James McCormack, and had siblings Ann Margaret (McCormack) Redknap, Kenneth John McCormack, and James Thomas McCormack. She married John Ralph Pollett, and had a child Shirley Joan (Pollett) Fitzgerald. Nellie Pollett died at age 48 years old on November 23, 1952, and was buried at Botany Cemetery- Catholic in Matraville, City of Randwick County, NSW Australia.

He began Ford Motor Company with $28,000 in cash from twelve investors, two of whom (the Dodge brothers) later began their own car company. Henry Ford improved on assembly line techniques and has been so successful that his family still controls a very popular Ford line of cars and trucks.
