Nancy T (Thouron) Ryle's History: 1910 - 2002

Uncover new discoveries and connections today by sharing about people & moments from yesterday.
  • Introduction

Always quick on the wit and wonderfully entertaining, Nancy was one of a kind. She was extremely bright as well as a dedicated philanthropist who quietly helped a number of charitable causes over the years. She also believed in education and gifted her Summer home (The Sea Urchins in Bar Harbor, Maine) to the College of The Atlantic in the hopes that it might help generations to come. I shall never forget her Cheshire grin, the fascinating and fun stories of the gilded age she grew up in, nor her kindness to my family. Je t'aime Madame, Merci!
