Myrtle Rose Lindsay ( Cozens 1886 - 1977

Myrtle Rose (Cozens) Lindsay was born in 1886 to Robert Bailey Harvey Cozens and Rosanna "Rose" Myrtle Cozens ( Wells, and had a brother Joseph Robert Cozens. She married Frederick William Henry Lindsay, and had children Lester Harvey Lindsay, Elsie Rosanna May Lindsay, Myrtle "Victoria" Lindsay, Dorothy Lindsay, Alma Lindsay, and Shirley Lindsay. Myrtle Lindsay died at age 91 years old in 1977.

In 1886, in the year that Myrtle Rose Lindsay ( Cozens was born, on October 28th, President Grover Cleveland officially dedicated the Statue of Liberty. A gift from France, the base for the statue had been built using donations from the American public. The unplanned but enthusiastic celebration after the dedication led to the first ticker tape parade.
