Minnie Nacey 1888 - 1971

Minnie Marie (Carlson) Nacey of Amery, Polk County, Wisconsin was born on February 29, 1888 to C. J. Carlson and Tilda Carlson. She had siblings John Carlson, Otto Carlson, Jennie Lundgren, Alma Halverson, William Carlson, Emil Carlson, Olof Carlson, Joseph Carlson, and Carl E. Carlson. She married Edward Nacey, and they were married until Edward's death on September 22, 1936. She had children Ed Nacey, Luella (Nacey) Roettger, Elmer Jay Nacey, William C. Nacey, Loretta Otis, and Marie Nacey Wallin. Minnie Nacey died at age 83 years old on June 7, 1971 at Apple River Valley Memorial Hospital in Amery, and was buried in June 1971 at Free Mission Cemetery in Amery.

He was supposedly the only person who used touch typing and is believed to have invented the method.
