(Braman) Moore was born on July 26, 1890 in Jackson County, Arkansas United States to Schuyler Braman and Catherine Harness, and had siblings Mable Braman, Cora Braman, Dewy Braman, Clyde Braman, and Harvey Braman. She was in a relationship with Arthur S. Moore, and had children Deloise (Pealy) Z. Moore, Walter R. Moore, Thelma Josephine Moore, and Virgil Moore. Minnie Moore died at age 101 years old on December 28, 1991 at Hoover Cemetary in Athens, Fulton County, IN, and was buried on December 31, 1991 at Hoover Cemetary in Athens.

    July 26, 1890 - Dec. 28, 1991 Minnie F. MOORE, 101, of 514 E. 12th St., died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at her home. She had been ill for several weeks. She was born in Denmark, Ark., to Schuyler and Catherine HARNESS BRAMAN. She moved from Huntington to Rochester in 1955. On Nov. 30, 1906 in Rochester she married Arthur S. MOORE, who died March 13, 1960. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Grand Lodge of Ladies Auxiiary of United Transportation Union and the Golden Agers Symphony, from which she retired at the age of 92. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Thelma) NEWMAN, Rochester; two sons, Walter [MOORE], Pueblo, Colo., and Virgil [MOORE], Boulder, Colo.; five gradchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandsons. Preceding in death were a son, Deloise [MOORE]; two sisters, Mable RUSLER and Cora McINTYRE, and three brothers, Harvey, Clyde and Dewey BRAMAN. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Athens with the Rev. Carl RICKS officiating. There will be no visitation. Zimmerman Family Funeral Home, Rochester, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church.

In 1890, in the year that Minnie F. Braman was born, on December 29th, the Wounded Knee Massacre occurred in South Dakota on the Lakota Pine Ridge Indian Reservation . The U.S. 7th Cavalry Regiment said that they rode into the Lakota camp "trying to disarm" the inhabitants. One person, Black Coyote - who was deaf - held onto his rifle, saying that he paid a lot of money for it. Shots rang out and by the end at least 153 Lakota Sioux - some estimates say 300 - and 25 troops had died. The site of the massacre is a National Historic Landmark.

In 1920, she was 30 years old when Italian born factory worker Nicola Sacco and fish peddler Bartolomeo Vanzetti were picked up by police on May 5th in connection with the April 15th murder and robbery of a guard and a paymaster at the Slater and Morrill Shoe Company in South Braintree, Mass. Although in later years they were thought to be innocent, they were anarchists and were convicted of the crime and put to death.
