Introduction

Mildred was my great grandmother. I didn't get very much time to know her, she died when I was two. I have one memory of her though. I recall climbing in to bed with her and pretending to read books to her. She was so loved by my grandmother, her daughter, Dorothy. She also had an adoptive daughter, however I am not sure of her name. Mildred had two grand daughters. Terri and Lynn. She also had two great granddaughters Lily and myself, Brittney. Our mother is Terri. Mildred has 5 great great grandchildren. Zoey, Roman, Liam, Imogen, and Amelia. All of which are my children (Brittney). Mildred was married to my Great Grandfather Elis, I know very little of him as he died before I was born. I only have a story or two my grandmother had told me. I remember Mildred to be a sweet and kind woman. I also remember she liked making terrariums, I had one she made when I was a teenager.

The Lincoln penny was so popular that it soon had to be rationed and it sold on the secondary market for a quarter. Abraham Lincoln was the first historical figure to be on a U.S. coin - which was released to commemorate his 100th birthday. This penny was also the first U.S. cent to include the words "In God We Trust.".
