brought menen here from Ethiopia in 2004. Within maybe six months we separated due to irreconcilable differences. Due to our being apart Menes green card was denied, but I was able to persuade to have it overturned.
men was unhappy in our relations no matter what, basically because she had unrealistic expectations of life in America. Eventually Menens cruel and bizarre behavior interrupted my school plans and I ended up jobless and temporarily ( about a month) being transient.
Menen , saw this as an opportunity to divorce me, and met a light skinned overweight , bad looking man 16 years her sr, who lived several states away.
Working with in the naturalization timeline, Menen arranged to become pregnant by this man, whom she then then married; keep in mind they were strangers and it was a long distance relationship. She took FMLA and lived with him until the baby was born, so it would all look legitimate.
Menen did these things deliberately because she placed a low value on herself and her culture. As long as it was an American Caucasian man, was the only thing that mattered. menen married a albino man, achieving her goal of becoming American and ensuring her child's citizenship.
Menen has earned a degree and now has the things he coveted. My message to menen would be tell the truth , either way, and be with this man. if he is good enough to have a baby by, he should at least have a chance at fatherhood. You cant do a reset after the fact.
the other thing would be again ell the truth to this man. as far as what I have learned, basically to place a higher value on my own self.
Anyway menen I have different options, and we are friends already if that's what you wanted. if u had the same desire menen. we can never be man and wife, but I do think at least for menen you can only live in denial for so long. menen make peace with your father and your culture.
peace
