    My hsb's ggrandmother was a sister to Melvins' father. Her name was Dorothea F. Cording dob16Jan1864 in Germanydod5Dec1955 in Alexandria Thayer County NE she married Henry Schroeder and my hsbs' father was Almon Schroeder who was born in March 1913 Gladstone Jefferson county NE. His grandson is the current owner of the Schroeder Family Farm located near the old town of Meridian. Would like to hear from anyone who remembers anything about the farm or family.
