  • Introduction

Matt was a beautiful person and a great and Loyal brother and Friend. He faced many hardships as we all do in his life and conquered them with a smile on his face always. He brought joy and laughter into the lives of everyone who truly knew him. He is loved and admired Always. Matt spent many years in prison due to the laws and war on drugs and what all that can transpire in your life because of it. No one in this world is perfect, nor, do we make the right decisions all the time. unfortunately because of our decisions and choices consequences become greater in length and more severely laid out. Matt had an undeniable grace that set him apart from others. he was always willing to help anyone in his way. he listened and tried to give his advice always seeking to know if maybe you might exchange your own for a problem he might've needed help with too. He wasn't afraid of work or getting his hands dirty. many a day I saw him under the motor of a vehicle, hius smile lighting the world when he saw u coming around the corner. He was never ugly to anyone unless they disrespected him or those he held dear to him or if they were out of line completely. Matt was a man that was slow to anger but once he was mad he was MAD!!!! I was friends with Matt for 17years and in the time that I was blessed to spend with him I only heard him raise his voice to someone 1 time. He was beautiful in every way. I miss him so much and I can't wait for the day when I can see him again smiling that smile asking what I have been up to. He was a man of love, life, pain, beauty, hope, sadness, regret, inspiration. A man who never really knew how completely valuable he was to so many and how much he was/is LOVED.... Matt was my best friend, I miss him now today the same as I did that day I leaned over him lying in that casket. It broke my heart to see him go and I will never be unbroken again. I love you Matt!!!! You have a place in the Heavens and you Have always had one in our hearts.
