    I was told by my father Donald E Schaper that is Grandmother was Matilda Brinkmeyer & that she was adopted at a young age - So I don't really know her birth parents - she married Charles F Schaper until his death in Dec1938 in St Louis County MO - She then moved in with her son William " Uncle Bill " in Jefferson County (Pevely) MO until she passed away in 1956- They always as far as I recall were a farming family - When Williams brother Henry got divoriced around 1940ish his children Henry- Gilbert - Donald (my father) & Delores lived with grandma and Uncle Bill for several years while attending the one room school house in Pevely MO - Until my grandfather Henry remarried Harriet Holmes in 1944ish - Henry & Harriert & the kids moved to Colorado for few years then returned to St Louis MO where they owned couple of successful businesses until they retired-
