Mary Jane (Welch) Cameron Sturt 1864 - 1930

Mary Jane (Welch) Sturt of Carlton,, Victoria, Australia was born in 1864 at Belfast (Port Fairy), Victoria to Caroline (Allen) Welch and John Welch. Mary Sturt had siblings Elizabeth Ann Teresa (Welch) Cameron, James Thomas Welch, David William Welch, and John Welch Jr. She married Hugh Cameron on March 22, 1882 in Whroo, and they were married until death separated them. They had children Caroline Ellen (Cameron) Dunstan, Mary Jane (Cameron) Hooper, Hugh Cameron, Florence May Cameron, Horace Hugh Cameron, and Dorothy (Cameron) Wentworth. She would also marry William Onslow Sturt, and they had a child William (Billie) Onslow Sturt. Mary Sturt died at age 65 years old on February 13, 1930 in Carlton, VIC, and was buried on February 14, 1930 at Coburg Cemetery in Preston.

Aged 63 years.
