Wonderful caring Mom.
Born Mary Ellen Grady in Somerville, Massachusetts on May 25, 1912. Married my dad Joseph Anthony Roome in 1939 and moved to Brooklyn, New York. They had 4 children Mary Ellen, Joseph Anthony, Jeanne Ann, and Robert Denis Roome.
She always remained a Boston Red Sox’s fan, even though she lived in Brooklyn for 60 years. She also kept the Boston Accent all her life. She was a wonder loving caring woman. I miss her everyday.
