Mary Arrington was born in 1843 to William Robert Arrington, Jr. and Cenia Hauke Dykes Arrington, and had siblings William Robert Arrington, Iii, Easter Elizabeth (Arrington) Scarbrough, Susan (Arrington) Allen, Julia Ann Arrington, Elizabeth Arrington Bryan, Bartenia Arrington, Emmaline (Arrington) Tillery, James B. Arrington, Martha Arrington Kennington, Rebecca Arrington Folmar, and Lydia (Arrington) Burcalow. She married James Harvey Kennington, and had children William D. (W.d.) Kennington, Robert Hiram Kennington, and Ira Jane Kennington. Mary Arrington died at age 34 years old in 1877.
