She married James Pentland, and had children Annie Winifred (Pentland) Andrew, James Daniel Pentland, Christopher Pentland, Peter Leo Pentland, Patrick Herbert Pentland, William Pentland, John Pentland, Donald Pentland, Frank Pentland, and Ellen Pentland. Mary Pentland died at age 76 years old on May 10, 1943 at Melbourne VIC, Australia in Melbourne, VIC Australia, and was buried at Springvale Botanical Cemetery 600 Princes Hwy, in Springvale, City of Greater Dandenong County.
