Mary Anne (Ringin) McDonald of Wonthaggi, Bass Coast Shire County, VIC Australia was born in 1874 in Carngham, Pyrenees Shire County to David Ringin and Elizabeth Smyth Ringin. She had siblings Elizabeth Robinson Elspeth Ringin, Marguerite Ringin, Grace Ringin Kenney, David Ringin Jr., Andrew Ringin, and James William Ringin. She married Joseph Mcdonald in 1892, and had children John Mcdonald, Marguerite Florence Mcdonald, Myrtle Grace Mcdonald, and David Malcolm Mcdonald. Mary McDonald died at age 44 years old on March 26, 1919 in Wonthaggi, Bass Coast Shire County.
