One of her favorite experiences was to serve as a volunteer on the crafts committee of Stan Hywet Hall (the home of one of the rubber industry barons in Akron) where she knitted many thins to sell at a fall sale on the grounds. She also belonged to the Tuesday Musical Club of Akron and was a volunteer at the St. Thomas Hospital in Akron. She was a member of Eternal Shepherd Lutheran Church in Seneca.

    Mary Ann M. Boscoff Mary Ann McKay Boscoff, 83, of The Sterling House, died on Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Palmetto Baptist Medical Center. Although born in Hebron, Ohio, she lived most of her life in Akron, Ohio. As a child, she lived for a few years in New Mexico with her father but later lived with an aunt and uncle in Akron, Ohio. She was a graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She was an administrative assistant in the Romance Language Department of Ohio State University in Athens, Ohio, and Akron, Ohio. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at The Sterling House, 131 Vickery Drive, Central.
