Marvin Michael Hoshaw was born on June 30th 1961 to Eleanor Hoshaw. He had a few siblings, and many children. Youngest child was Eleanor May Hoshaw, whom was 12 when Marvin died. Marvin loved his family and was passionate about boxing, but eventually became too ill to participate. Marvin had his entire stomach removed, half of his liver, and half of his colon. He was a fighter, both physically and mentally. Marvin spent most of his time fishing and camping with his youngest daughter Eleanor, and his wife Christine L. Hoshaw. Marvin died a slow but relaxing death and was taken care of by many people in the process. He was a loved man and very intelligent. Marvin enjoined his time on this earth and endured until the very end. Rest in peace Marvin "Ho".

In 1961, in the year that Marvin Michael Hoshaw was born, on August 13th, East Germany began erection of what would become the Berlin Wall between East and West Berlin. In one day, they installed barbed wire entanglements and fences (called Barbed Wire Sunday in Germany). On August 17th, the first concrete elements and large blocks were put in place.

In 1974, Marvin was merely 13 years old when on July 30th, the House Judiciary Committee adopted three articles of impeachment against President Nixon. He was charged with obstruction of justice, failure to uphold laws, and the refusal to produce material subpoenaed by the committee. In order to avoid impeachment, Richard M. Nixon announced that he would resign on August 8th, the first President to do so.
