  • Introduction

My name is Sharen Valentine (formerly Walker) and I worked with Marji at the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. She actually filled my position in the Robbery Detail after I left. She was so bubbly and happy and I was totally devastated when she died. I was only 25 then (I'm 66 now) but I think of her often and remember her every year on this day (July 22). I never knew her husband, Owen, but I hope he knows that she had friends who miss her so much. Maggie Prince, Marji and I all worked closely together and were fast friends. RIP Marji. We miss you!!
