Miss Marilyn Lee Duffy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Duffy, has chosen Saturday, June 7, as the date for her marriage to Mr. James Lockhardt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stanley Lockhardt of Louisville, Ky. The ceremony will take place at 2 o'clock in St. Agnes Church, Bond Hill.
Miss Duffy is a senior in the College of Home Economics of the University of Cincinnati, where she is a member of Alpha Delta Pi. Mr. Lockhardt, who attended UC's College of Applied Arts, is now serving with the armed forces. He will be graduated from the Electronics School at Aberdeen, Md., late in April. Mr. Lockhardt is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
Miss Duffy was the guest of honor at a linen shower given by Mrs. Frances Raymond McCarty and at a miscellaneous shower given by Mrs. David T. Ostrander. Mrs. William Steins entertained in her honor Sunday, and Miss Marjorie Heyerkamp will give a party Friday. Mrs. Joseph Ryan will give a dinner May 10 at the Vernon Manor.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Duffy of Cincinnati announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Marilyn Duffy, to Pvt. James Gilbert Lockhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul S. Lockhart of Louisville. A June wedding is planned.
Miss Duffy will be graduated next month from the University of Cincinnati and is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Private Lockhart attended the University of Cincinnati and is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
