Introduction

Marianne was an exchange student to Beauvais, France during her senior High School year. She moved to Los Angeles when Anelya passed away in 1984 or 85 at the age of 65. She had told no one she was dying of Pancreatic Cancer. She left everything to Marianne.

Early Life & Education

She studied Journalism and French as a double major at the University of Hawaii. She received a certificate in Multimedia from North Seattle Community College and went on to earn a Washington Award for Vocational Excellence which paid for a certificate program in Technical Writing at the University of Washington Extension School. Marianne also pursued IT Systems Specialist certificate at South Seattle Community College but changed to Highline College to study Cybersecurity. Her studies were cut short as she had to return to Hawaii to care for her dying father. She plans to pursue a Master's degree at University of Washington Bothell in Cybersecurity.

I'm looking to connect with my Aunty Helena's kids' (Ilsa and Billy) kids; and my Uncle Harry's kids' (Glenn and Stevie) kids, my Uncle Eddie's kids' (I never knew my uncle Eddie and would like to meet my cousins), and also my Uncle Connie's kids' kids--I adored my Uncle Connie and he always found time to pay attention to me when I was a little 'un. Uncle Harry did too. I met one of Connie's kids Stephanie when she was a toddler and I was so happy to have a cousin. That was when Grandpa Sembroski--who I have many beautiful memories of and have a deep love for to this day--had to go live in Texas. I was about 10 or 11. It was devastating to me to see him lying in state, years later. Subsequently, the fighting that had started at Connie's marriage (I was there) continued after my Grandfather's death as they fought over Grandpa's belongings. This left my mother, Flo, Anelya, and Helena not talking to Connie, who had been named executor and who had taken some bricks. I don't know what all elsel My mother found out later from another relative that he had died under sad circumstances. Oh how I loved my Uncle Connie. Such beautiful memories I have.
