Marian (Karpenske) Carlson was born on May 1, 1904 to Andrew Karpenske and Pauline Karpenske, and had siblings Frank Karpenski, Rose Marie Karpenske Sigsworth, Mike Karpenske, Edith Karpenske Anderson, Ann Karpenske, Joseph Karpenske, Bernard Karpenske, John Karpenske, Charles Karpenske, Dorothy Karpenske Seeley, and Carl Karpenske. Marian's partner was Anders Hanson Mattson, and they had a child Ardyce Eloise McCavic. She married Louis Carlson and they later divorced. They had children Shirley (Carlson) Linder and Norman Richard Alan Carlson. Marian Carlson died at age 77 years old on September 29, 1981 in Amery, Polk County, Wisconsin United States, and was buried at Amery Cemetery Central St, in Amery.
