Margaret (Meany) McMahon was born in 1833 to Patrick Meaney and Hanna (Cooney) Meaney, and had a brother James Meaney. She was in a relationship with Cornelius McMahon, and had children Edmond McMahon, Patrick Francis McMahon, and Cornelius Martin McMahon. Margaret McMahon died at age 82 years old in January 1916, and was buried at Ballarat Old Cemetery 904 Macarthur St, in Ballarat Central, Ballarat City County, VIC Australia.
