Margaret (Frame) McPhate was born in 1867 to Robert Frame and Johanna (Ross) Frame, and had siblings Grace Eleanor Frame, Eliza Jane Frame, Robert Frame, Marion (Frame) Wither, and John Frame. She was in a relationship with Peter McPhate, and had children Charles McPhate and Jean Helen (McPhate) Finch. Margaret McPhate died at age 78 years old on February 22, 1946 in Mordialloc, Kingston City County, VIC Australia, and was buried at New Cheltenham Cemetery in Cheltenham, Bayside City County.
