    she worked with her father, who was a trader of goods, in the indian territory as a young girl.Her job was to throw things back on the wagon that had fallen off. She was an excellent raiser of flowers and vegetables and also a very loving teacher of the young children of the family and always had a good time playing with them! She had a wonderful outlook on life!!

In 1881, in the year that Margaret E Sims was born, on October 26th, the "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" happened in Tombstone, Arizona. The gunfight lasted only 30 seconds - the Earps and Doc Holliday on one side and the "Cowboys" on the other side. The McLaury brothers and Billy Clanton of the Cowboys were killed. Two of the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday were wounded.
